NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CANCELLED

NOTICE is hereby given that a Public Hearing that was to be held Tuesday, September 19, 2017 has been cancelled at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City of West Kelowna, 2760 Cameron Road West Kelowna, BC to consider. It was to consider:

“OFFICIAL COMMUNITY PLAN AMENDMENT BYLAW NO. 100.43” AND

“ZONING AMENDMENT Bylaw No. 154.43

Location:                     2295 Shannon Way 

Legal Description:      Lot A, DL 2599, ODYD, Plan KAP83204

File No:                        Z 16-05

Purpose:                      The Official Community Plan amendment is proposed to change the land use designation from Medium Density Multiple Family to Commercial and the zoning amendment is proposed to change the zoning from Medium Density Multiple Residential Zone (R4) to Service Commercial Zone (C4). These amendments are to allow a commercial storage facility with RV washing station as well as contractor services use with equipment storage, warehouse space and accessory sales and office space.

Copies of the bylaw and related materials may be reviewed at Municipal Hall, 8:30 to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays, up to and including September 19.

HOW TO MAKE A SUBMISSION

All persons who believe their interest in property is affected by this proposal may speak at the public hearing or provide a written submission for Council consideration.  Written submissions may be delivered in person at Municipal Hall, or sent by mail, email, or fax per the contact information given with this notice.  All submissions must be made Attn:  City Clerk and received by 4 p.m. on September 18, 2017.

Submissions should reference the bylaw number in the subject line and include your name and the civic address or legal description of the land affected by the proposal.  Please be advised that all submissions, including the names of authors will become part of the public record.  The author’s phone number and email address are not relevant and should not be included in the correspondence if the writer does not wish his or her personal information disclosed. 

Any written submission received after the 4 p.m. deadline on September 18 will not be circulated to Council; however, submissions received after 4 p.m. will be available for viewing in the Public Hearing binder.

Please Note that Council cannot receive submissions after the conclusion of the Public Hearing.
